About Jim Corwin Photographer

Jim Corwin is a freelance photographer based in the Seattle area specializing in Travel, Nature, Lifestyle, Sports and Conceptual imagery. Jim began his career in photography shooting for local newspapers in the Seattle area photographing small town life in their local communities. He then branched out to take on assignment work for local and regional magazines. Jim went on to photograph for Associated Press and Sports Information at the University of Washington. During this time Jim began photographing products and travel imagery for Western Photographics, GTE, Safeway, Kiro, and US WEST that were later featured in many commercial brochures, ad campaigns and annual reports. Jim's work has been published in many local and national magazines including Northwest Travel, Oregon magazine, Audobon, National Geographic Traveler, Business Week, Alaska Airlines magazine and many more. Jim has been submitting images to many Stock Photo Agencies over the last 19 years and is represented by Getty Images, Corbis, PhotoLibrary, PhotoResearchers, Alamy and Stock Connection.
